Of the approximately 14,000 items in the Kirk Collection, 7,500 are popular songs published
for the most part from ca. 1900-1970. This grouping of commercial sheet music, which is
on the average 22 x 28 cm. (8 1/2 x 11 in.), contains 2,019 songs ranging in the date of publication from 1865 to 1968. Pagination varies, and many of the sheets, particularly older ones, are fragile. The commercial sheet music is housed separately from the artist, or performance, copies and arranged in boxes by multiples of years. Select the group in which you wish to browse from the list below:
