Listing of Names, Topics, and Photographs
Found in the Collection
The following listing contains three columns. Column one is the identified subject; column two contains a reference to a location in the Neff-Guttridge Collection or in a reference work; column three contains notes. The abbreviation of sources used in the listing is given directly below.
You may use these references to search in the web-searchable database. To browse the content of folders by a particular Identifier number, truncate it or expand it to four digits. In other words, enter the number 1 as "0001". The number 100 would be entered as "0100", etc. Numbers preceded by an "H" refer to photographs contained in envelopes which most likely have not been included in the searchable database, since they are housed separately from the research files. Inquire by e-mail, phone, or correspondence for information about these photogrphic materials.
There is no guarantee that names and subjects below will match exactly with those used in the database. Therefore, if a searching on first and last name fails to yield results, the user may want to try only the last name.
Because of time and staffing constraints, no effort has been made to correct any typographical or other errors on the listing which has been transcribed below from the researcher's card file. At some future time, it may be corrected. For now, the user is cautioned to realize that this is not the last word on contents. Get in touch with Special Collections staff for more extensive assistance. For items that have not been entered yet or for follow up questions, you may use the link below of the provided e-mail form. You may also call 812/237-2610 for assistance.
