Taking Notes

The best time to begin using Citation is at the beginning of your research, before you start writing your paper.

To begin using Citation to take notes or record sources, go to Citation, choose File, New Datafile from the menu.

A new dialog box will open, asking you to choose a form. For example, if you are working with a journal article, choose Article in a Journal from the menu.
