Writing Your Paper: Part Three

When you've finished writing your paper and are ready to create a bibliography, choose Generate, Citations for Document from the Citation menu.

Using Citation to generate citations

A dialog box will open and ask you to specify aspects of your citation style. Choose the style specified by your instructor. The most common styles are APA Style and MLA Style.

MLA Style is used in literature and the humanities. APA Style is used in psychology and other social sciences and sometimes in business and nursing. The sciences use several specialized styles.
