Conclusion Remember that citing your source to avoid plagiarism is a 2-step process: The first step is the in-text citation, and the second step is the end-of-text citation. This tutorial has only focused on step 1, the in-text citation, because it is during this step that most potential plagiarism problems occur. For further information on formatting in-text citations, such as citing quotes from Web pages or multiple authors, consult the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association for APA style or the MLA handbook for writers of research papers for MLA style.
