Sensational magazines are usually in newspaper format. As such, the illustrations are almost always in black and white. Often the pictures are somewhat "grainy" in appearance. The cover frequently has a large picture (black and white) and headline to grab your attention. Sensational publications also have numerous advertisements for products.
